Before you start, write down your cellular phone number here:

* Contact your Cellular Service Provider to confirm your Carrier System ID
number.

Don't worry! If you make a mistake, trY AgAIn will appear. After a few
seconds, your phone will display the incorrect number you entered for that
step. Press [CLR] to erase the last digit or press and hold [CLR] to erase
the entire entry. Re-enter the correct number, then press [STO] and you're
finished.
BEFORE YOU START!!
Programming is normally done by a trained technician where the phone is
purchased. The following information must be obtained from the carrier
before programming can begin.

The battery must be charged to program a portable or personal phone. The
AC charger adapter is NOT sufficient to program or operate a phone with a
discharged battery. Mobiles must be connected to a power source.
Note: If a mistake is made, press [CLR] and re-enter data, or turn power
off and begin again.
Step 1. Press [PWR] to turn phone ON.
Press [FCN], 0 000000 000000 (13 zeros, or 0 + Factory preset
security code twice).
Note: You will not see any zeros in the display.
Press [RCL]: Display shows 01.
(If 00 appears in the display, you may have pressed the keys too
slowly or mis-entered the security code. Press [CLR] and try
again.)
Step 2. Press [*]: display shows 00000.
Enter Carrier System ID: _ _ _ _ _
Step 3. Press [*]: Display shows 02. (02 2 when programming 2nd phone
number).
Press [*]: Display shows 111.
Enter Customer area code: _ _ _
Step 4. Press [*]: Display shows 03 (03 2 when programming 2nd phone
number).
Press [*]: Display shows 1110111.
Enter Customer phone number: _ _ _ - _ _ _ _
Important! Verify phone number.
Step 5. Press [*]: Display shows 05 (05 2 when programming 2nd phone
number).
Press [*]: Display shows 00.
Enter Carrier Access Overload Class: _ _
Step 6. Press [*]: Display shows 06 (06 2 when programming 2nd phone
number).
Press [*]: Display shows 00.
Enter Carrier Group ID: _ _
STOP
At this point, select one of the following options:
If you wish to change the security code, unlock code, and/or pursue
programming options such as entering a second phone number, go to
Step 7.
If you are done programming, press [*], [SND]. This will save your
programming information and exit programming mode.
Step 7. Press [*]: Display shows 07.
Press [*]: Display shows 000000.
Enter desired six-digit security code, or go to Step 8. The
preset factory security code is 000000.
Note: Changing the security code is not advised. If it is
forgotten, the phone must be taken to an authorized service
center to be reset.
Step 8. Press [*]: Display shows 08.
Press [*]: Display shows 123.
Enter desired three-digit unlock code, or go to Step 9.
Step 9. Press [*], [*], [*]: Display shows 10.
Press [*]: Display shows a six-digit number containing only 0's
and 1's.

A. To disable handset internal speaker (disable speaker only
if your installation contains a separate external speaker/
VSP unit), write a "1" in the space below marked "1st".
B. To program a second phone number, write a "1" in the space
below marked "5th".
C. DO NOT change your 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 6th numbers. Write
them below as shown in Step 9, above.
D. If you wish to make no changes, go to Step 10.

If you have not selected to program a second telephone number,
programming is now complete. If you have selected to program a

2nd carrier.

Programming is complete.
